Exercises 10 · AI Content Repurposer

Start from workflow/starter.json (input handling) or your finished lesson workflow.

Exercise 1: Your brand voice

Task: Add an optional voice_samples field (2–3 of your past posts). The model should match their tone.

Done when: output with your samples is noticeably closer to your style than without.

Hint

Add a VOICE SAMPLES (match this tone, don't copy content): section to the prompt, only when samples are provided: {{ $('Repurpose API').item.json.body.voice_samples ? '...' : '' }}.

Exercise 2: Content calendar

Task: Save each generated piece as its own row in a Google Sheet (date, channel, angle, hook, text, status) with suggested publish dates over the next week.

Done when: one API call adds 6+ rows with status draft.

Hint

After the chain, a Code node that flattens output into one item per piece and assigns dates, then Google Sheets Append Row.

Exercise 3: Self-correcting output

Task: Make the workflow retry when the output breaks the rules (wrong number of shorts, thread post over 280 characters).

Done when: a deliberately broken output triggers one retry and the final response passes test/test.sh.

Hint

Turn on Auto-Fix Format in the parser for JSON issues. For rule violations, add an IF after the chain that checks the limits and loops back to the chain once with a "fix these problems:" note.
